14 Days of Radio Silence

Posted by Karen Rubin on Sun, Jul 24, 2011 @ 09:07 AM

If you know me at all, you know I talk... a lot. I've always talked a lot. The next two weeks are going to be interesting as I'm not going to be able to talk AT ALL!!! Watch while I tell you all about it, and how I plan to cope.

Good luck, and I wish you a speedy recovery! Have you considered learning a few sign language signs? Also, I imagine that the duck whistle might get left at home once in awhile which might result in violence as you try to non-verbally express your opinions or attract attention ;) Let me know if you need help with medical explanations or other medical help!

Thanks so much! I did think about learning some sign language. What stopped me was that no one else at home or work would know it, and signing to yourself doesn't get the job done!

I wouldn't be surprised if Jared hid the duck whistle. :-)

Good luck Karen! After the surgery, every time we miss your raspy voice we can just rewatch this video :)

Hi Karen, you look good and I wish you to brave out the surgery. I like your hoodie. Where can I get one?
