This morning I woke up to a fantastic surprise, I was picked as one of the Wild Web Women's Top Marketing Girl Crushes!!! I have to say, there was much dancing around my place when I saw who else was on the list,
Heather B. Armstrong
Can you believe it? I made a list with Arianna Huffington and Miley Cyrus!! I am sure they were both dancing around their homes because they were on a list with, *gasp* Karen Rubin!
Much thanks to the Wild Web Women and Rebekah Donaldson for making my morning.
P.S. There is a vote, for the #1 girl crush, and if you wanted to vote for me...I wouldn't mind.
I am off to San Francisco for the Marketing Sherpa B2B Marketing Summit. It sounds like it's going to be a pretty exciting event with tons of cool speakers and case studies. I am headed out there with HubSpot.tv to interview all the interesting people who are in attendance.

Don't worry, I am taking the red eye home Thursday night to be back in Boston for HubSpot.tv on Friday. I'll fill you in on everything I learned and all the cool people I met then!
Call me lazy if you will, but I got back from vacation and haven't had the energy to pick up with my tweeting and blogging because I have been dealing with an inbox and reader that look something like this.
However, I will share some photos I took on my iPhone. Based on the recommendations of Steve Garfield and C.C. Chapman, before heading to Colorado I purchased AutoStitch. It was totally worth it! Here are some of the panoramic photos I put together.

When I was 5, I wanted a cat more than anything else in the world. I begged and begged and begged until finally my parents relented. They decided I could get a cat if I gave up sucking my thumb before my 6th birthday (because my parents weren't about making it easy for me!) I struggled for 6 weeks, but finally managed to kick the habit, and was rewarded with my cat Frisky.
I am yet again at a point in my life were I desperately want a kitten, but instead of convincing my parents, I have to convince my husband. Jared has been pushing back for a couple of years now, but last night I finally convinced him that the nagging and badgering was only going to get worse. Having learned from my parents, he isn't planning to go down without a fight, but has agreed that if I can get him 2,000 followers on Twitter, I can have a cat!
So I am here, asking to you to help me out by FOLLOWING JARED! As your friends to follow Jared! Ask your co-workers to follow Jared! Tweet with the hash tag #akittenforkaren and spread the word about my latest social media challenge!
